CODEC – 2023: Instructions for Oral & Poster Presenters

Guideline for Oral Presentation


  1. The presentation time for a contributory paper is strictly 15 (presentation= 12 + Q/A= 3) minutes. All presenters are requested to strictly adhere the time schedule for smooth running of the program.
  2. Presenting authors should be present at the beginning of his/her session in the designated hall well before the time so that session chair confirms the presenter’s name and paper id/title.
  3. Only presented papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore. Those are not willing to upload papers in IEEE Xplore should inform the program desk well in advance.
  4. Each session room is equipped with an LCD projector and a Laptop with Microsoft Power Point.
  5. All presenters should send their presentation slides both in .pptx and .pdf format to the email id:kmrpe@caluniv.ac.in on or before 8th December 2023. The authors are also advised to carry a copy of their presentation in a pen drive. If necessary, volunteers will help to upload the slides before the session.
  6. Please prepare the presentation slides as per the attached guidelines to maintain uniformity and time schedule. The template of the slide is available here for ready reference.

Interactive/ Poster Session Schedule

  • Day : 16th December 2023, Time:3:00-5:25 PM

Guideline for Poster Presentation

  • Interactive/ Poster session provides an opportunity for authors to present their work for a longer duration. The authors will get opportunity to interact with the judges and experts to receive important feedback, if any. Best poster paper will be awarded a prize.
  • Please hang the Poster at the designated place 1 hour before the session starts and contact the desk if any help is required.
  • Each poster for presentation will be displayed on a poster panel. Size of the panel is 48 inch x 36 inch. The size of each poster should be maximum 46 inch (H)/ 34 inch (W). Poster can be fixed up on the panel by push-pins/double sided tape. Those pins/tapes will be available at the venue.
  • • Please note at least one presenter should stand in front of his/her poster during the poster session, otherwise the poster will be regarded as “No Show” and the paper will be excluded from IEEE Xplore publication.
